![]() ![]() If I did fuck up though, feel free to let me know.Your IP address has been temporarily blocked due to a large number of HTTP requests. I'm talking about free shit that's already on the cart and currently available. I talked to a mod, cuz I didn't know what I could really say or hint at. But also just everything, no matter how trifling.īy the way, no fraudulent behaviour in here. And being a massive Dragon Quest fan, I want EVERYTHING. I don't disbelieve them, but I do like having as complete a game as I can. Most I've seen speak on it say that the DLC is not all that necessary, that it's rather slight. I feel like it's either not popular enough or not really possible unless you hacked the game itself. I've heard tell of some AR codes, but haven't been able to find much on the web, besides people requesting them at places like gbatemp, with no real responses. ![]() ![]() cia, right? Like, I hacked my 3DS, but I'm not a hacker myself, so I don't really know. I'm not sure if that's even the kind of DLC you could inject via homebrew? It's not exactly an expansion pack, so it couldn't be a straight rip or a. there would be no such thing as a hacked, perfect starter save file with all the DLC unlocked, right? It seems you'd have to have at least 3 saved games, each with a different lump of the DLC which makes no sense for actually playing the game. ![]() But if you can only hold so many of them at once. The question is: with this weird setup, is there any way to preserve all the DLC? Mind you, it's free, and on the cart, so I don't think I'm speaking of anything too sketchy. Sure, I've ignored that advice on every other DQ, but still. It's also a game that people tend to advise pacing yourself with, to play it in short bursts. Sure, it's a ways away, but this is a game that, even on HowLongToBeat (basically a speedrun site IMO), has something like 259 hours listed for completionists. So right now, to legitimately experience all the DLC, from what I gather, you'd have to make an extremely long game even longer by grabbing the DLC tablets piecemeal, clearing them, and cycling through them until you've unlocked all the stuff you might want to put in your custom tablets (again, I haven't even started, so I'm not entirely sure what this implies).Īll of this to say is, no fucking way am I confident that I'll have all this done by the time the eShop closes. The problem being that A) this is legendarily like the longest fucking game ever and you have to get them in-game, not anywhere near the start, and B) you can only carry so many tablets, including those of the base game, and some of them, the more story-oriented ones, are only available after finishing the game. They include unique dungeons, monsters, NPCs for your Immigrant Town, items etc. They released like 40-50 extra tablets in the form of free weekly DLC (what is this, Satellaview?) and from what I understand, they're all available now. Apparently 7, 8, and 9 all did from what I understand it's not terribly hard to unlock the DLC for 8+9 with AR codes or certain wi-fi codes, shit like that.īut 7, it would seem, is different. So, firstly, I haven't started DQ7 it'll probably be my next big JRPG after finishing FF8 POTENTIALLY UNNECESSARY DLC PRESERVATION!!!! ![]()
